Privacy Policy
Effective date: 25 May 2026
Total 360 Security Barbados Limited (“Total 360,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Barbados Data Protection Act, 2019-29 (the “Act”). This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website at total360securitybarbados.com, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you as a data subject.
For the purposes of the Act, Total 360 Security Barbados Limited is the data controller responsible for your personal data. Our registered office is at #495 1st Avenue, Crystal Crescent, Kingsland Terrace, Christ Church BB17062, Barbados, and we can be contacted at info@total360securitybarbados.com.
1. The Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data that you provide to us directly, and data collected automatically when you use our website.
Data you provide
When you complete a contact or risk-discussion form, we collect your name, email address, cell phone number (if provided), the sector you operate in, your approximate number of users, and any details you choose to include about your environment. We also collect any information you provide when you email or telephone us.
Data collected automatically
Our website is hosted on Squarespace and uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. When you visit, these services may collect technical and usage data including your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits. This data is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).
2. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use personal data to respond to your enquiries and schedule risk discussions; to provide and improve our services and communicate with you about them; to operate, secure, and improve our website and understand how it is used; to send you communications you have requested or consented to receive; and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Our Lawful Bases for Processing
Under the Act, we process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so. The bases we rely on are:
• Consent — where you have agreed to receive marketing communications or have opted in through a form.
• Performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract — for example, responding to a request for a proposal or risk discussion.
• Legitimate interests — operating, securing, and improving our website and business, where these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
• Compliance with a legal obligation — where the law requires us to process or retain certain data.
4. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function (set by Squarespace). Others are analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager, which help us understand how visitors use the site. We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website functions.
5. How We Share Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:
• Service providers that operate our website and tools, including Squarespace (hosting and forms) and Google (analytics), which process data on our behalf.
• Within the Total 360 group of companies, where necessary to respond to your enquiry and deliver our services.
• Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or a lawful request by a public authority, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
6. International Transfers
Because we use Squarespace and Google, your personal data may be processed on servers located outside Barbados, including in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred outside Barbados, we take steps to ensure it is afforded a level of protection consistent with the Act, including relying on the safeguards and contractual protections offered by these providers.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to respond to your enquiry, to maintain our business records, and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When personal data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
8. How We Protect Your Data
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage, consistent with the security standards we apply across the Total 360 operating model.
9. Your Rights Under the Act
As a data subject, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data:
• To be informed about how your data is collected and used.
• To request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• To request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• To request erasure of your data in certain circumstances.
• To request restriction of, or to object to, our processing.
• To request the portability of data you have provided to us.
• To withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
• To object to processing for direct marketing at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@total360securitybarbados.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by the Act.
10. The Data Protection Commissioner
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, we encourage you to contact us first so we can address it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Barbados, the authority responsible for overseeing compliance with the Act.
11. Children
Our website and services are directed at organisations and business professionals and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
